NEW HERE

At Bethany Church in Ledyard, Iowa, we strive to be a Jesus-centered church, living out His love and truth in all we do. Our focus is on encountering God through His Word, growing as disciples, serving others with Christ’s heart, and making an impact in our community.

We’d love to have you join us for worship at our 10:15 am service on Sundays. Bethany Church is a welcoming family of believers from all walks of life, united by a desire to grow in faith and reflect Jesus in our everyday lives.

With a heart for our community, we are committed to sharing the love of Jesus right here in Ledyard and the surrounding areas. Whether through acts of service, outreach events, or simply being good neighbors, we aim to reflect Christ’s love and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those around us. At Bethany, we don’t just gather—we seek to be the church.

We’re glad you’re here.

WELCOME

  • Services at Bethany are typically short, sweet, and to the point. They begin at 10:15AM and typically go for about 45 mins.

  • You’re welcome to come as you are! At Bethany Church, we’re more focused on who you are than what you wear. You’ll find people in everything from jeans and t-shirts to their Sunday best, so wear whatever makes you comfortable.

  • Our worship style blends traditional with a modern touch. We use pews, hymnals, and an organ for a classic worship experience, but our services aren’t rigidly structured, allowing room for a relaxed and personal connection. We also live stream our services and use TVs to complement the sermons with visuals, helping everyone engage with the message.

  • We offer a children’s Sunday school before our 10:15 am service, where kids can learn and grow in their faith at their level. During the main service, children typically join us in worship, creating a family-friendly atmosphere where everyone can participate together. We love having kids as part of our church family!

  • No—this is never the expectation. At Bethany Church, we believe God doesn’t want your tithe; He wants your heart and commitment to Him. While it’s true that churches rely on financial support to operate and serve their communities, giving is always a personal choice and an act of worship, not an obligation. If you feel led to give, we’re grateful, but our primary desire is for you to grow in your relationship with God.

  • Getting to know people at Bethany Church is as easy as finding coffee at a potluck—we’re all about connection! Stick around after the service to chat, join or create a Bible study, or jump into one of our community events. You’ll find we’re a friendly bunch, and before you know it, you’ll feel right at home.
